FCFOA Bulletin 9-5-11 Meeting - There is no regular meeting this week, September 6. There is however a make-up meeting. The 1st year officials will be meeting as well. Uniforms - There still seems to be questions about the Varsity uniform. It is up to the Referee's discretion what shirt (short or long) and what pants (black or knickers) will be worn. It is absolutely mandatory that both shirts and both pants be brought to your game even if the Referee communicates with you prior to the game as to what his uniform preference is. Time management - I was disappointed to receive reports that we had officials during our first week arrive late for both lower level and Varsity games. This obviously is very disruptive to the crew. Some of our newer officials were guilty of this. There is a number of times when we have a lot of officials vying for a few open spots. I certainly want those officials getting those spots (as well as all of our officials) to arrive to the game on time. If you have a history of arriving late for your games you will be passed over for open assignments. Tough traffic conditions are the norm in So. Calif so please manage your time wisely. Assignor fees - There still remains a high number of officials who have yet to pay there assignor fees. By the time of our next regular season meeting on Tuesday, September 13 most officials will have had at least three games under the belt. Any official not paid by September 13 could have there game(s) reassigned,
